Ah, there’s nothing like the feeling that a serious antique buff gets like ‘the find’ of a priceless treasure. Priceless, at least, in their eyes. And where better to find that priceless beauty than at the Rocky Mountain Antique Festival held in Beaver Creek Village.
More Than Just Antiques
Don’t be fooled into thinking that old stuff is all you’re going to find at the antique festival however; there are culinary demonstrations, food booths and activities in which to participate everywhere you turn. And furniture isn’t the only antique you’ll find either; there is glassware, jewelry, art work, dishes, silver, rugs and yes of course both European and American furniture. The antiquing that you can do in Beaver Creek Village amounts to far more than just a little Ma and Pa antique shop; I mean you don’t devote an entire festival to one store after all.
Fall In Love With Beaver Creek Village
You’ll never see beauty again like the beauty you will see in the Rockies. Mother Nature has indeed outdone herself. With the friendly people and the fun atmosphere you may be tempted to stay… at least for a while. Why not rent a Beaver Creek condo for a time just to see if it’s a good fit? Then again, how could it not be? You will never be at a loss for things to do and see and that can be said for year round activities and sites.
You can be as active or as sedentary as you like. There are biking and hiking opportunities; skiing and snowboarding; fly fishing and golfing. Then again, if you appreciate finer things in life such as antiques you may want to pop in at the Vilar Performing Arts Center or take a stroll through the Beaver Creek Art Festival. There are also rodeos and other competitive sporting events such as bike races and runs.
